Pick Me Up! Special

£2,000 in one month!

Clare hit the jackpot twice…

- Clare Foley, 38, West Glamorgan

Back in 2011, my sister-in-law said how much she enjoyed Pick Me Up! Bingo! and that I should try it. I loved bingo, and the thought of playing at home in pyjamas and slippers sounded great.

After signing up, I played around on the site, getting to know the games. There were so many!

I had fun playing the slots, but my fave was Sapphire Bingo – a 90-ball bingo game.

I had a few small wins over the years, but mostly, I just enjoyed myself.

Last December, my husband Peter, 40, was at work and I was home with our kids, aged 20, 18, and 14. They were all busy in their rooms, so I had a few games of bingo while watching TV.

I got tickets for Sapphire and let the games play out.

I must’ve become engrossed in the telly, because moments later when I checked, I only needed one number to win!

Then, the next thing I knew, a message was flashing up on the screen. Winner! it read. Checking the message, I realised I’d won £1,000. ‘Yes!’ I screamed. When I phoned Peter, he thought I was joking. ‘You sure?’ he said. So I sent him a picture of my account balance.

‘That’s made my day,’ he laughed, chuffed.

When he got home, we had a bottle of wine to celebrate.

We decided to buy the kids some presents, clothes, Xbox games…it was lovely being able to spoil them.

Then, a few weeks later in January this year, I decided to play Sapphire again.i hadn’t played since my previous win.

Everybody was out and I had the place to myself. So I put my feet up and bought a few tickets.

The first game played out , my numbers were checked off and then I only needed one more…

Winner! a message flashed on screen.

Sure enough, I’d scooped another £1,000.

I got on the phone to my mum straightaway to tell her the good news.

‘I’ve just won a grand!’ I told her, laughing.

‘I know, you’ve already told me,’ she replied, a bit confused. ‘No,’ I chuckled. ‘I’ve won again.’ She was over the moon for me. Later, when I told Peter, he was really thrilled, too.

‘This is absolutely unbelievable,’ he kept saying.

This time, we decided to save the money but not before treating everyone to a few takeaways first.

Winning twice in just a few weeks feels like a dream. I have to keep pinching myself to believe it! But it is real – I really am a double winner.

So thank you, Pick Me Up! Bingo. Playing such fun and my two wins have been amazing!

I loved the thought of playing at home in my pyjamas!
