Should I go it alone?

Ihave been saving for such a long time to get a deposit on a house. My boyfriend doesn’t have the money to contribute anything to the deposit but he wants to be on the mortgage and pay half every month. I worry if I don’t agree, it will ruin our relationship, but it doesn’t seem fair to me. Should I say no?
