Tell Cheater’s Girlfriend?

- Rosie, 30, Lincoln

Irecently met a man on a dating site. After chatting for a while online, I met up with him and we slept together on our first date.

After that, though, things went quiet so I tracked him down on Facebook – where I discovered, to my horror, that he has a serious girlfriend!

I’m absolutely fuming!

I’d never intentionally sleep with someone else’s partner, but this man lied to me and told me he was single.

I’d like to message his girlfriend and tell her that her partner is a scumbag and he’s going on dating sites and cheating on her. But I’m not sure it’s my place to do so.

Should I contact his girlfriend on Facebook?

yes

Pick Me Up! reader Clair Cuthbertson says, ‘I’d tell the girlfriend because then she can make up her mind if she wants to be with a guy like that.

The worst thing is your partner cheating and people knowing, but not saying anything, as you feel like everyone’s been laughing at you.

It’s not a nice feeling as I know from experience.

If the girl had told me, it might have saved me from getting hurt.’

NO

Pick Me Up! reader Andrea Jones Savin says, ‘I hope you don’t feel guilty. You didn’t know he had a girlfriend. But will she believe you if you tell her? If some stranger messaged you telling you something like that, would you believe it?

Even though you got hurt, you could still end up looking bad.

Don’t let him turn you into “that” woman. Forget him and move on. Enjoy your own life.’
