Pick Me Up!

I’ve Won Over er £16,300 And a holiday!

Yvonne has scooped FIVE jackpots!

-

After dinner, I flicked the kettle on and asked my husband Barry, 64, if he wanted a cup of tea. He did – so I made us both one – but he was watching a programme that I wasn’t interested in – so I started playing around on my laptop.

Soon I got chatting to my bingo pals in the chatroom of Pick Me Up! Bingo.

I’d been a member for over 10 years.

Sometimes I just logged in, for a little natter.

The ‘roomies’ as they’re known, are such a lovely bunch.

And there was always a laugh to be had in the chatrooms.

Before long I was giggling away at something one of my friends had said.

‘The roomies are at it again!’ I chuckled to Barry.

While I was on the site, I thought I might as well buy a few tickets for a game.

Bingo Lounge was one of my favourites.

I decided to have a few games while I continued nattering in the chatroom.

Your numbers are automatically marked off.

So I didn’t need to worry if I got distracted.

A few minutes later, I checked my numbers.

I was stunned to see my account balance had increased by £1,363. I’d won the jackpot! Barry’s jaw dropped when I showed him.

We were both speechless. ‘I can’t believe you’ve won again,’ he gasped.

Because, you see, this wasn’t my first win.

Three years earlier in March 2014, I’d scooped a whopping £4,262 playing Game Show Bingo.

And, less than a month later, that April, I’d won another £4,503 playing the same game. I’d been on cloud nine. My daughter, 34, had just moved into a new house.

So I’d given her the money to treat herself to some nice, new bits to decorate the place.

Then me and Barry had booked ourselves a little weekend away to Scotland.

Off to Tenerife!

Winning that money had come as such a lovely surprise.

Then, the following year in 2015, I’d won a wonderful holiday to Tenerife.

I’d opted in to take part in a promotion on the site to enter a prize draw.

And I’d been chosen as the

‘Roomies’ as they’re known are such a lovely bunch

winner – simple as that!

Barry and I had enjoyed a lovely all-inclusive week away in the sun, .

After having three big wins, in such close succession, I never thought I’d win again!

Now, though, in April this year, I’d proved myself wrong.

‘My third cash win!’ I grinned, absolutely thrilled.

Holiday fund

Barry and I decided to add the money to a holiday fund.

Then, months later this June, I was chatting to a few friends in the chatroom when I caught sight of my balance. It had increased by £3,632.

That can’t be right, I thought. I’d not even been playing any bingo games, just chatting to my pals.

I switched off my laptop, thinking that my eyes were playing tricks on me.

The following morning when I checked my account balance again, the money was still in there.

‘What’s going on?’ I asked my daughter, confused.

So she checked for me and a smile spread across her face. ‘You’ve won!’ she laughed. A few days before I’d bought tickets for Session Bingo.

I’d completely forgotten all about them.

But I’d won the jackpot! I was stunned.

‘What an amazing surprise to wake up to!’ I grinned.

Again, Barry and I decided to add to our holiday fund.

‘We’ll book to go somewhere nice soon,’ I promised him.

But before we had time to even look at holiday brochures, I had yet another win in July.

This time I scooped £2,634 playing in Bingo Lounge.

‘That’s unbelievable!’ Barry told me, laughing.

To say that I was flabbergasted is a total understatement.

Another trip…

It meant that Barry and I could really treat ourselves to a nice holiday.

So recently we booked to go on a coach trip around Italy. We set off next month. We’ll get to see all the lovely sights, enjoy some pasta lunches and sip gorgeous Italian wine.

We can’t wait! Winning so many times

has been really magical.

I know what you’re thinking, though… Five jackpots – it’s all right for some!

Well, I used to think the same whenever I read about bingo winners in

Pick Me Up! magazine. I never in a million years thought that one day I’d be appearing in the mag. Yet here I am!

I’m proof that anybody can be a winner!
