You might remember seeing me on these pages before. I won £1,000 back in November 2016 playing bingo in Playoff Palace. This is my second time in Pick Me Up! magazine celebrating my win.

I’ve been a member of the site since January 2016.

Won small amounts here and there.

The £1,000 win was brilliant!

I’d seen the jackpot – we all usually have a peek before playing.

I just didn’t realise I would be the big winner that game. It was an incredible feeling.

Who’d know that in October 2017, a year later I would be enjoying yet another big moment.

I’d just managed to sit down after dropping my daughter Emma, at work.

She worked in a restaurant, so wouldn’t need picking up until later.

It was now my peace and quiet time!

It’d been a busy few weeks, but tonight was all about me.

I flicked on a soap, and opened my laptop.

It was 7pm, and I fancied playing the evening game of Session Bingo.

Session Bingo is a special game where you buy a bundle of bingo tickets for 15 different games over an hour.

I enjoyed being able to sit back and use the chatrooms.

While I waited for the numbers to be called.

You get to know the people in there well, too.

‘Hi, how are you?’ I typed. I gossiped away with my chatroom friends.

The second game started, and everything changed.

I noticed my numbers just kept getting called.

They kept flashing up on my screen.

Soon, I only needed six more numbers.

‘No, this surely can’t be!’ I said aloud.

They kept popping out, and being dabbed off my card.

Then I only needed one more number.

C’mon number 47! Suddenly a number appeared…

It was 47!

My name flashed on to the screen.

I’d won the progressive jackpot of £5,697!

I nearly fell off my chair. Rubbing my eyes, I was almost scared to blink in case it’d disappear.

Stunned, I was getting messages in the chatroom.

‘Have you fainted?’ one person typed.

‘No, but I don’t know what to do!’ I replied.

I couldn’t believe it. I finished the rest of the hour-long session in a bit of a daze.

Like I was rooted to the spot. ‘Get a glass of wine to celebrate!’ someone typed.

I laughed – I had to pick

my daughter up!

‘You’re never going to believe this,’ I laughed when she climbed into the car.

When I told her my news, she was so shocked and overwhelmed.

Straight away I knew how I wanted to spend my win.

My eldest Michelle, 25, had just moved out.

I helped her with the move.

Turns out her new home’s fridge-freezer had broken down. Typical!

I was trying to help her, while Emma moved into Michelle’s old room.

Michelle had taken her bedroom’s flat screen TV, so Emma fancied a new one of her own.

‘We’ll get you a telly,’

I smiled.

I told

Michelle to order a new fridgefreezer, too.

And I bought her some new wardrobes for her spare room.

The girls got very spoilt!

As for me, I bought some things I had my eye on. Nice perfume, gorgeous clothes.

I really treated myself thanks to my staggering

Pick Me Up! Bingo win.

If it can happen to me… ...It can certainly happen to you!
