Make peace with the past
The worst thing to do while trying to stay positive is dwell on the past.
Do you often find yourself thinking about something bad that happened in the past or moments where you felt embarrassed or angry?
When we do this, our emotions change, even though we are no longer in the situation itself.
Try and let go of the past and focus on the present. You can’t change anything that has happened, so try and focus on living in the now.
