Woods goes nap as Mill romp to 8-2 victory

Simon Woods took his tally to 10 in three games with a five-goal haul in Wicor Mill Royals’ Portsmouth Sunday League Division 4 win over AC Copnor.

Waterman and Michael Cunningham also scored in an 8-2 success, Brad Hartill twice replying.

Taylor Hanson (2), Morgan Easen and Billy Hider were on target as Cosham Trades beat Fratton Trades 4-2. Jake Hill and Immanuel Hazell replied.

Conor Higgs, Gareth Spicer and Chris Thompson scored as Freehouse A beat Saturn Royale 3-1. Connor Fitzjohn replied.

Jamie Ford and Steve Cunnington scored as Lakeside Refit drew 2-2 with Co-op Dragons.

Sam Redman’s hat-trick helped Portsvile Park lift the curtain on their Division 5 campaign in style. Lewis Amey, Kofi Addo, Sheldon Chester and Charlie Welton also netted in a 7-0 win against Horndean United.

There were two 9-0 victories in Division 5.

David Newcombe’s hat-trick led the way for Al's Bar against AFC Eastney with Rikki Hatherley (2), Ryan Carter, Jason Plomer and Scott Crane also among the goals.

Barry Jeans hit four as Fratton Trades Reserves thumped AFC Prospect by the same margin. Further goals came from Mitchell Smith

(3), Harrison Green and Dan Thornton.

Padnell Rovers made it two wins out of two in Division 6 with a 5-3 victory over North End Lions at Farlington.

After Padnell had gone ahead through Bradley Ottaway-Smith, Lions levelled through Darren Williams and took the lead through Kent Prye.

Rovers missed a penalty but equalised through Jordan Mogoli.

Rovers were back in front when Zac James volleyed home and extended their lead with a Owen Read strike.

Lions hit back through Ryan Dugan but Harry Hatherley put the game to bed with a long-range effort.

FC Fenix are top on goal difference after blitzing

AFC Trades Reserves 11-0 thanks to Reece Searle (3), Ash Sills (3), Marc Gear (2), Chris Bearpark (2) and Dave Peachment.

Aaron Paice’s treble helped AFC Fairfields defeat Horndean Hawks 5-3. Ricky Hemming and Martin Loader completed the nap hand.

Ben Pascoe (2), Louis Hadley, Craig Shaw and

Harry Croughan gave Freehouse B a 5-0 victory over Fratton Trades A.
