Hundreds of people contact psychic Kevin
Solace sought from around the globe over Covid
PSYCHIC medium Kevin Hooper says he’s never been busier as hundreds of people from across the world have contacted him seeking solace from coronavirus.
Kevin, from Hilsea, believes it was his calling to become a psychic medium ahead of the virus hitting and turning everyone’s lives upside down.
He said: ‘I knew it was coming.
‘There is a spiritual war going and we are caught between good and evil.
‘Our life changed seven months ago and it is not going to change back to how it was. Something bigger is going on.’
The 56-year-old decided to completely change his career after he spotted a poster offering a six-week course in a window in North End 18 months ago.
Since doing the course, he quit his 10-year advertising career to become a full-time medium – something he says he was meant to do.
Kevin said: ‘I have been on an amazing journey. My spirit guides put me on this path. I have gone global with my readings.
‘I have given up my company to fully focus on this.
‘The whole purpose of speaking out is that I want people to know that I am here.
‘The world has changed as we know it. Many people are turning to me. Many people are lost. There are many people living in the past and there is a lot of uncertainty going round.
‘There are a lot of people in a bad place right now.
‘Five people came to me within the past couple of weeks saying they wanted to end their lives.
‘That’s why I have become a spiritual life coach.’
Kevin undertakes readings using psychometry – holding objects of an object of unknown history and making associations.
He says his spirit guides keep him safe, and that they show him images which he can interpret.
He also hopes to develop his skills further, by practising to become a clairvoyant or clairaudient.
He says his spiritual skills have drawn people to him – even helping him talk down someone from jumping from a bridge and stopping someone stabbing him.
He charges for readings, which he holds in person at Stamshaw and Tipner Leisure Centre or Cosham Social Club, or digitally via email or
Facebook.
Kevin, who has two daughters aged 23 and 19, said: ‘My daughters support me, however most of my family think I am mad but then they thought that about me before any of this started.’
