A ROUND-UP of some of the recent cases before Portsmouth magistrate­s.

Jessica Brutnell, 32, of Edenbridge Road, Baffins, admitted flouting a community order in February last year and was fined £100.

She must pay £60 costs. She also admitted failing to turn up at court on March 18.

Andrew Trivelloni, 43, of

Sea Front, Hayling Island, admitted stealing alcohol worth £107 from Asda in Havant on January 30.

He was fined £60 with a £32 victim surcharge. He was detained in court.

Joseph Scott, 26, of Geoffrey Crescent, Fareham, admitted damaging a Suzuki car window and rear light in Gosport on July 19.

He must pay £500 compensati­on to the victim.

Norman Gostage, 61, of Locksheath Close, Warren Park, admitted being drunk at Gatwick Airport on February 21.

Magistrate­s fined him £120 with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs.

He was detained in court, meaning he does not have to pay the costs ordered.

Natalie McClean, 38, of St Mary’s Road, Hayling Island, admitted drink-driving in Sea Front, Hayling Island, on January 22.

Magistrate­s imposed a 36-month ban with £120 fine.

She must pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecutio­n Service.

A test showed she had 113 milligramm­es of alcohol in 100 millilitre­s of blood.

The legal limit in blood is 80.

Finnian Read, 19, of

Rothes Road, Dorking in Surrey, admitted cannabis drug-driving on the M275 southbound at Portsmouth on January 29.

Magistrate­s fined him £300 with a 12-month ban.

He must pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Olivia Sen, 26, of Conqueror Drive, Gillingham in Kent, admitted careless driving in Titchfield Road, Fareham, on June 28.

Magistrate­s imposed a fine of £256 with a £34 surcharge and £85 costs.

Magistrate­s imposed five points on his licence.

Christophe­r Beddall, 38, of Western Terrace, Stamshaw, admitted two charges of assault on May 24 at the Ibis hotel in Fratton Way, Southsea.

Magistrate­s imposed a 12-month conditiona­l discharge with £300 compensati­on to pay.

Jamie Rolfe, 26, of London Road, Hilsea, admitted two charges of damaging a cell at Portsmouth police station on April 22.

Magistrate­s imposed a six-month conditiona­l discharge.

He must pay a £22 victim surcharge.
