POMPEY fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Saturday’s 4-2 victory at Burton. Here’s a selection of their views...

Opinions on his suitability for the role aside, I’m actually pleased for Kenny tonight. Sounds like the Pompey players put a real shift in for him second half. Nobody deserves the amount of vitriol that he’s received this week.

All yesterday proved is that #Pompey have quality players and can get a win vs the leakiest defence in the league so far. All it did was paper over a serious crack. I don’t even care if we go up this year, KJ is NOT the manager to take us forward. #JackettOut

May have won yesterday which was good, but there is still issues at the club with players and manager. KJ is still not wanted here and needs to do the right thing and walk. He will not get us promoted this season. Those who think yesterday’s win is a turning point are mad.

@BigParks71

Much improved today? Harness got a terrific hat-trick, pleased for Jack Whatmough getting a goal too. But goals conceded were awful. Burton were another really poor team but we beat them. Our defence needs to be tighter and our finishing needs to be as clinical as today. 7/10

Will Morris ever have a very good game? Or score? Or anything?

Great win today. First time the forward line looked good. Let’s hope Pompey can put a good run together. P.U.P.

@tj_malley

Great win today, that was so needed – not just for the fans but the players too. No dodgy 1-0 win either, 4 goals away from home impressive. Defence and midfield still needs work but there’s no denying that we have a very good attack when they all click together #Pompey

@EddieMillar

Jackett’s position becomes that little bit more tenable after that emphatic #Pompey win. Still plenty to do to win back fans (some won’t be won back no matter what) but it’s a start.
