Supporters cheered by improved showing

POMPEY fans on social media have been having their say after the Blues’ 2-0 win at Gillingham last night.

Here’s what fans on Twitter had to say about the Blues’ third league win of the season...

@mikepfcwhite363: Can’t fault that performance well played, and nice to see both goals scored on the ground, ticks all the boxes for me.

@Limmy05: Two CBs were awesome against a very big and direct side.

@pfczak: Played surprisingly well, I thought Marquis and Jacobs were standout. Still would feel more comfortable with Rasmus than Raggett.

@johnhorneartist: Yipeeeee that’s fantastic lads, what a great win and by two goals and getting three points. Well done lads, you’ve done us fans so proud Pompey, it’s made my evening. Up the Blues.

@597Andy: Better ..... much better.

@04Tyler_PUP: Jacobs looked good again today but needs to get the ball out quicker. Tends to take too many touches. But he’s still a great addition to Pompey.

@benf1503: Great win well done, lads!

@BoxingFanatic_: Jacobs looks quality. The missing piece from last season. Going to get better and better too I reckon. Imagine him and Thompson playing together.

@Aaron25650310: Much better players looked like they wanted to win! Was there first to every ball better we go again Saturday.
