A ROUND-UP of some of the recent cases before Portsmouth magistrate­s.

Agnieszka Lazicka, 18, of Islay Gardens, Cosham, admitted cannabis drugdrivin­g in Northern Road, Cosham, on March 5.

She was fined £120 with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs.

She was banned from driving for a year.

Ryan Noyce, 40, of Spring Garden Lane, Gosport, admitted breaching a restrainin­g order on October 6. Magistrate­s imposed a 12-week term suspended for nine months. Noyce must complete 20 days’ rehabilita­tion activities. He must pay a £128 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Skelton, 38, of Sheffield Road, Fratton, admitted handling stolen goods on October 29 last year. He also admitted fraud by false representa­tion. Magistrate­s imposed a two-year community order with 10 days’ rehabilita­tion activities. He was fined £80 with a £90 surcharge and £85 costs.

Gary Thomson, 47, St Faith’s Road, Landport, admitted two charges of having the class B drug amphetamin­e on July

18 last year. Thomson was fined £80 with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. An order was made that the drugs must be destroyed and forfeited.

Aaron Trafford, 39, of

Elwell Green, Hayling Island, admitted causing racially-aggravated harassment, alarm or distress on February 1. Magistrate­s fined him £800 with an £80 surcharge and £85 costs.

Jordan Hill, 19, of Roke Lane, Witley in Godalming, admitted stealing Blu-ray discs worth £203 on December 1 last year. He admitted assault on the same day.

Magistrate­s ordered him to pay £303 compensati­on.

Hill must pay a £21 surcharge.

Tyler Palmer, 23, of Mill Pond Road, Gosport, admitted cannabis drug-driving in Eastbourne Avenue, Gosport, on November 13 last year. He also admitted driving without insurance or a licence. Magistrate­s fined him £280 with a 12-month ban and £32 surcharge with £85 costs.

David Barracloug­h, 51, of Fort Cumberland Road, Eastney, admitted obstructin­g a police officer in Isambard Brunel Road on July 31. Magistrate­s imposed a six-month conditiona­l discharge. He must pay a £22 surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Ellis, 37, of Oak Tree Close, Rowlands Castle, admitted using threatenin­g, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour.

He was fined £120 for the July 23 offence in his street.

He must pay a £34 surcharge with £85 costs.
