Crossway Christmas Lights

-

For many years my wife Barbara and I have displayed our home and gardens from Chinese society.

It's not gas chambers but it's just as effective at eliminating a culture.

So beware all you good men who defeated him, the beast that bore him is in heat again.

Tom Gardiner Gosport with Christmas lights etc. The past 15 years for various charities/causes to support. This year we chose to support the Portchester food bank.

Our lights are on display everyday from December 1 to January 5.

We have a Christmas box for donation and for the first time for online payment a link ref; gf.me/u/y7993w – both will be open until January 14.

It has been a great success; when lights finished we have had donated £3,150 and since a further £100. Apart from the considerable benefit to those families less fortunate than ourselves (the food bank support over 40 families), the whole village has been aware of the fund and very excited by the financial increase. We have kept the interest alive with daily reports. It has been amazing.

The team look forward to next year’s lights.

A cheque handover was done on January 11. Unfortunately there were very few there due to current restrictions but The News was present. There is still time to make a donation link ref; gf.me/u/y7993w (we can always make a separate cheque after the handover).

We wish all readers the very best for the current year – the signs are looking good.
