Letter from NHS leaders

HEALTH leaders in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have called on the public to support the NHS by staying safe and using the right service.

A group of 17 leaders representing 11 organisations have jointly signed an open letter to residents.

The letter calls on the public to follow government advice and encourage family and friends to do the same.

In the letter, local NHS leaders said: ‘With the development of vaccines we now know we can beat this virus, but we cannot let our guard down. These next few weeks will be the most difficult we have ever faced.

‘The colder weather makes things all the more challenging for us. That is why we are asking for your help.’
