Spurs fans sing praises of Pompey newcomer

-

POMPEY fans will be forgiven for wondering who Blues new-boy Harvey White is following his Fratton Park arrival.

After all, the Spurs youngster has moved to Fratton Park on loan having made only two first-team appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side.

The Fratton faithful should take note of the glowing reference the Tottenham boss provided the 19-yearold following those outings against Ludogorets in the Europa League and, more recently, Marine in the FA Cup.

But perhaps an even better barometer of the player’s capabilities is Twitter, where no-one is shy in offering their opinion.

Here’s some examples of what Spurs fans have been saying about the youngster following confirmation of his loan move to Fratton Park...

@FplWinx: We’re loaning you one of our biggest talents you should be excited.

His best asset is his technique but he isn’t going to struggle with the physical side of the game.

He ran the hard yards against Marine both with speed and stamina and unless you’ve got a really really good set-piece specialist in your team Harvey will be on them in no time.

@SpursViews_: Great signing for you lot! A real grafter, superb engine, good eye for a pass, very polished technically.

Should slot in well. Take care of him lads! And play him.

@ThfcDec: He’s going to win about 20 man of the match polls between now and May, just to let you know.

@ConorFoShaw: Decent player to have, quality player.

@thfcollie03: This guy is different gravy. Go smash it Harvey!!

@tylerranger22: Pompey fans if you’re wondering, he’s a DM and LB, he also takes our free kicks and penalties in the under-23s.

@CharlieCooper90: I’m a Spurs and Pompey fan, this is a great move for Harvey and Portsmouth, he’s a great young player full of potential look after him Pompey.

@_10kanee: Very highly rated youngster for us, good luck Harvey.

@dele_tubbies: No offence but he deserves better, he is deffo ready for the Championship.

@JMBaileyCOYS: You’ve got a big talent there, take care of him.

@CDBaker86: Got a top player on your hands there. Hope he does well for you lot. I’m sure he will!
