POMPEY are to continue working to squad-limit restrictions.

The 22-player ceiling the Blues are operating under remains in place, despite the scrapping of the wage cap in League One and League Two last week.

The EFL have confirmed the squads registered by clubs at the close of the transfer window on February 1 are still being adhered to.

The league have now released the names forwarded by Pompey to represent them for the rest of the term.

And there’s no surprises among that list, with goalkeeper Duncan Turnbull the player to miss out – as stated by manager Kenny Jackett.

Players aged under 21 do not count to the squad total of 22, with Haji Mnoga falling in that category.

There are a further eight players named by the club in that category.

Joe Hancott, Tom Bruce, Leon Pitman, Harvey Rew, Gerard Storey, Eoin Teggart and Taylor Seymour could all be called upon if necessary.

Harvey White, pictured above by Graham Hunt, also signed from Spurs for the rest of the season and doesn’t count towards the 22-player total at the age of 19.

Following the landmark arbitration panel hearing last week, the controversial £2.5m wage cap in force at League One level was scrapped with immediate effect.

Free agents over 21 can sign for clubs and count towards the 22-player total, with winger Danny Rowe joining Burton last weekend.

Clubs can register and deregister players from their squads outside of the transfer window with the league’s permission.
