Three-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Josie Long will be streaming a live comedy gig direct from her very own living room on Tuesday, March 9 - the date when the comic show should have been performing in front of a live audience at Theatre Royal Winchester. This brand new show comes after a brief hiatus, during which Josie had a baby. The show will cover the mind-bending intensity of new motherhood, but mostly kindness, gentleness, joy and optimism for the future. Also, some silly voices. Tickets cost £14 per device. Ash are to play two nights at The Wedgewood Rooms as part of their reschedule­d 25th anniversar­y tour. The first night is already sold out, but there are tickets available for the second show on Thursday, September 16. The tour, dubbed Teenage Wildlife, was set to mark the band’s silver anniversar­y. Famously just out of school when they started having hits with the likes of Kung Fu, Girl From Mars and Oh Yeah! they have gone on to become one of our most enduring rock acts – racking up two charttoppi­ng platinum-selling albums and 18 top 40 singles. The three-piece were originally scheduled to play at The Pyramids Centre on March 25 last year – just days after venues were ordered to close in the burgeoning pandemic. Just ahead of this, the band’s frontman Tim Wheeler spoke with Whitehead in the title role, Alfred Enoch as Harry Wooton, Joanna Lumley as Lady Narborough, Emma McDonald as Sibyl Vane, Russell Tovey as Basil Hallward with Stephen Fry as the Interviewe­r.
