Festive clues will lead families to the Easter Bunny
Free eggs for solving riddles
MYSTERIOUS clues will lead families to find the Easter Bunny in locations across Portsmouth and Gosport for a special treat.
Three riddles thought up by Harbour Church can be decoded to give the whereabouts of the festive character throughout the day on Good Friday, April 2.
At 10am and midday, the bunny will appear in two different locations across Portsmouth before making its way to Gosport for 3pm.
Anyone who finds the Easter Bunny will be given a free egg, to start the Easter weekend on a positive note.
Jess Elliott, head of communications and culture at Harbour Church, said: ‘Easter is one of the best times of the year, and we have a weekend of fun activities for the families of Portsmouth!’
Following on from this, the church will be putting on an Easter Spectacular show which will provide fun for all the family.
On Easter Sunday, this show will see a few familiar faces from favourite family films working together to solve a murder mystery.
Mum-of-two Claire Shaw, from Copnor, said: ‘I took my children to the first Easter Spectacular and have made sure that we've gone to every one of them since.
‘I have two children aged 19 months and five years and they both get so much fun out of the Spectacular event. There is always a warm welcome, the team is so talented and amazing.
‘The show is hilarious with jokes for all ages! It's rare you find something during the school holidays that is fun, for all ages, and completely free.
‘All you have to do is turn up ready for the fun!’ There will be four services taking place in person, with an online showing for families who can’t attend on the day. Gunwharf will host the first two physical shows at 9am and 11am, followed by 2pm and 4pm performances in Copnor.
The online showing will be available on Harbour Church’s Youtube and Facebook channels at 11am on Easter Sunday, March 4.
