Second showroom for independent kitchen company

Directors of Fareham specialist firm counting down to Winchester opening

-

AN INDEPENDENT kitchen specialist has branched out and is about to open its second showroom.

Controlled Interiors, a kitchen company in Fareham, is ready to open its second showroom, as soon as restrictions allow on April 12.

The showroom, in High Street, Winchester, was due to open on January 4 but the business had to change its plans in line with government advice and the new launch date was announced.

Director Guy Parkins, 31, from Fareham, said: ‘Our current showroom has been based in Fareham for 27 years and we have taken the positive leap to invest in a second shop and join the Winchester area.

‘Although Covid-19 has had a massive impact on our opening plans, we are still very excited to eventually open and start to chat, mingle and assist the lovely people of Winchester with their upcoming kitchen projects.

‘Apart from expanded our family business to a second showroom, we also see this as positive news for the town of Winchester by hopefully doing our bit for the local economy during these really testing times.’

Co-director Penny BryantSearl, 30, said that visitors to the new showroom will find a niche collection of modern displays.

She said: ‘Winchester is well known for its traditional architecture and modern culture, so we truly believe our eclectic mix of classic and contemporary kitchens will appeal to residents and visitors alike.

‘Plus, what makes our new kitchen showroom really stand out is that we are showcasing products and finishes that are not displayed in other local showrooms and we are the only kitchen designers in Winchester offering Leicht - Germany’s leading luxury kitchen brand.

‘We feel there is no other kitchen brand that offers the same level of precision, innovation and performance.’
