I do feel slightly lacking in energy although being 27lb lighter than I was in December 2019 makes cycling up hills much less of a struggle.

I feel sorry for all those nimbys who are against Eastleigh Council and the runway extension at Southampton Airport.

It appears they have lobbied the Government after losing the vote.

Still look on the bright side – the government is now aware of a large expanse of land to build thousands of homes on and swell the population by a magnitude of a small town which will see thousands all needing work, driving cars, children needing schools, so everyone will be on a level playing field as to the best schools on offer in the area.

Myself, I'd rather have an extension to the runway so that the thousands of workers go home every night and cause no congestion locally.

But then I'm not a nimby .
