REPORT: SWINDON TO BE SOLD Struggling Swindon are to be sold by controversial owner Lee Power.

The former Pompey loanee is preparing to part company with the Robins, according to documents lodged with the High Court.

The Swindon Advertiser say a court claim form prepared by Hanover Bond Law alleges the club is to be sold to a third party, believed to be American firm Able Company LLC.

PARKY FOR DONNY

Phil Parkinson is being linked with a return to management at Doncaster.

The former Sunderland boss is being considered by Pompey’s play-off rivals, according to Football Insider.

GILLS ON BRINK

Gillingham boss Steve Evans knows defeats in the next two games will end his side’s play-off hopes.

The Gills are now six points off the top six with five games remaining after one win in their last five.

Evans told the Kent Messenger: ‘If we lose at Oxford and Peterborough, as far as the players are concerned we are done.

‘We need to win four out of five. A draw at Peterborough and a draw at Oxford would be good points but wouldn’t give us enough points to be competing in this group.’
