One of the south of England’s largest independent automotive businesses has created a brand new Centre for the service and repair of all makes and models of truck and van. Conveniently situated in Portsmouth, Harwoods Truck and Van Centre

offer maintenance for commercial fleet operators based across a wide area stretching from Dorset to south

Hampshire and West Sussex.

Harwoods Group has invested in workshop facilities bringing the latest automotive equipment to the new Portsmouth Centre. As a result, the new HGV and van repair shop can handle every

type of mechanical repair work.

At Harwoods Group, comprehensive staff training has always been of utmost importance. As a result, the Centre's technicians have complete expertise enabling them to maintain and repair any make, type or model of truck or

van to the most exacting standards possible. Experienced experts can diagnose faults quickly.

In addition, they'll source and fit quality genuine manufacturer parts to ensure the integrity of every repair.

At this new Portsmouth site, you can expect the same quality service levels as found previously at Fareham. There are two staff shifts stretching from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm, reducing downtime ensuring your trucks or vans are back where they belong, on the road, in the shortest possible time period.

We see our all-new Centre as a stepping stone to the creation of a fully franchised MAN site while continuing to provide

servicing and repairs for all-makes, too."

Darren continues: "While we currently are not able to offer MOTs or tachometer testing, we can arrange for this work to be undertaken through trusted providers with whom we have long-established relationships."

Harwoods has closed its Fareham commercial vehicle Centre to bring its extensive range of services closer to the large Portsmouth city market. However, there is also a Harwood site in Hamble where the technicians and engineering team can undertake PET Reg testing and repair on petrol

tanker fleets.

Darren concludes: "This investment by Harwoods has allowed us to expand our commercial servicing operation in Hampshire. As a result, we have a much larger vehicle park than was previously available at our old Fareham site."
