Southsea hair salon in the running for national award
A Southsea salon has proven to be a cut above the rest after being announced as finalists in a national competition.
Tony Wood Hair, based in Castle Road, has been announced as a finalist in the Colour Salon of the Year category at this year’s Salon Business Awards.
There are seven finalists in all in that category, the others being Paint & Powder, Alex Thaddeus Hairdressing, French & Ivi, Salon 54, Urban Coiffeur, The Hair Surgery and KJM Salons.
The nomination celebrates the Tony Wood Hair team’s creativity and colour services, as well as their impact in the hairdressing industry.
The Southsea-based salon offers a range of services including virgin full head, bespoke colour, half head of highlights and more.
As part of its dedication to hair creativity, Tony Wood Hair has recently launched its innovative Hairvoyance campaign, which empowers clients by offering personalised colour consultations.

The Salon Business Awards is one of the bestknown awards in the hairdressing industry, celebrating top performing businesses and individuals in the UK.
Judges have been working their way through more than 1,000 entries ahead of the Salon Business Awards Grand Final on June 5.
It will be the 10th anniversary of the competition and organisers say they are planning the best one yet.
Tony Wood Hair has previously scooped a number of awards, including hair salon of the year for 2018, manager of the year for 2019 and innovation of the year for 2016.
