Why tour here?

Where are we? The New Forest, near Godshill in Hampshire What’s going on? This friendly New Forest pony took rather a fancy to our towing mirrors, and seemed happy to pose. The roadside yellow gorse was just beginning to show its face as spring began to warm the heathland. It’s one of those wonderful places for walks and bike rides, for which Britain is celebrated and campsites abound.
