Stewart Longton branches out

Caravan dealership Stewart Longton’s Carnforth branch has split away from the network to form a separate company. The depot, part of the Stewart Longton network for over three decades, has become Lancaster Motorhomes and Caravans. James Hall, managing director of the new company, says it had been wanting to go in a different direction from the other three depots. In particular, it wanted to explore the introduction of new motorhomes, following a series of successful seasons selling used models. Warranties on used vans sold by the branch when it was known as Stewart Longton will be honoured, as will those from the new firm and Stewart Longton’s remaining branches at Chorley or Standish, which are unaffected by the change.
