Canada drops in
A Canadian company preparing a crowdfunding campaign to build the lightweight teardropstyle trailer it has designed says it is already in discussions with potential UK importers. The Droplet includes a queensize double bed, with gas hobs and a hand-pumped sink at the back. The tinted windows are as large as possible, and designer Pascal Pillon says the lightweight vehicle could easily be adapted for a wheelchair user. He and his wife Diane are hoping to set up a rental platform for the vehicles, and devote 10% of the proceeds of any sale to building a network of free campsites.
