Music, circus skills and Morris dancing are just some of the many things to be enjoyed at this traditional Shropshire fair, taking place in the grounds of Clun Castle over the May Day bank holiday weekend. 17-19 May 2024 Fawley Hill Vintage Transport Festival
Fawley Hill Railway, not far from Henley-on-thames, is the venue for this splendid vintage transport festival, where you can travel in a locomotive from a Victorian station with the steepest standard-gauge track in the world. At the museum, you can see Spitfires, motorcycles and much more. There will be live music and entertainment from noon until late. Tickets from £15 (under-12s free).

17-19 May 2024 Keswick Mountain Festival
This popular Lake District event is packed with activities, including guided walks, yoga and running. You can also expect to find outdoor clothing and equipment exhibitors, accessible adventure providers and a packed programme of speakers, including ‘Iron Man’ Sean Conway and broadcaster and author Louise Minchin.

30 May - 2 June 2024 Vintage Nostalgia Festival
Get your glad rags on for this step into the past at Stockton, in Wiltshire, where visitors are encouraged to dress in period attire for the whole weekend.
You can learn to jive and enjoy a fantastic line-up of bands with a retro vibe from the 50s to the 80s.
