Keep screws

Save any surplus screws and fittings. It may be tricky to find replacements if you ever need them again.

Coil compatibility

This kit uses the standard ignition coil. Check compatibility before buying a high-power ‘electronic’ coil.

Use decent screwdrivers

The points securing screws can be tight and you don’t want to mangle them.
