As our Readers’ Restorations will testify, anything is possible if you put your mind to it, but there’s no need to make life awkward. Will a Ford Thunderbird fit in your Thirties single garage? Do you have the stamina and mental fortitude to undertake a full, nut-and-bolt restoration? Working only at weekends? In the driveway? On a car for which there are no spares? Don’t be put off by lack of knowledge, skills or tools, however, as all of these things will be accumulated over time and is the essence of the hobby.
