Ring a seller rather than e-mailing as there’s a better chance of smelling a rat, should there be one. Ask private sellers about ‘the car’: if they ask ‘which car?’, they might be traders. Make sure you’re speaking the same language: is your definition of immaculate the same as theirs? Ask the right questions. Don’t promise to visit if you don’t intend to, though.
