Emerging classic at bottom of its price curve
These twin-turbo 276bhp beasts were always rare here as they cost the same as a Porsche 968 Club Sport. Now they are cheap, but still a great four-wheel drive toy with eye-catching presence. Badged in Japan as GTOS, plenty of those have now been imported here and tend to be cheaper – even sub-£2000. But watch out as some are the lesser non-turbo versions with ‘just’ 222bhp, so they will never be as desirable.
