Don’t forget…

Clutch

Grease the slave cylinder clevis pin and oil the pedal bearings. Check the cylinders for leaks and correct operation. Replace the fluid every two years or 24,000 miles.

Exhaust and fuel tank

Check the exhaust system for rust and insecurity. Check the petrol tank for corrosion. They’re prone to rotting from within.

Underbody fasteners

Ensure that all nuts, bolts, screws and running gear component fasteners are sound and correctly tightened.

Interior

Make sure the pedal rubbers are in good condition. Check that seat belts, if fitted, are in good order and their mounts are sound.
