Gary Davis’s promotion included dramatic demonstrations involving high-speed turns, yomping over bumps hands-off and hard braking to demonstrate anti-dive characteristics. A claimed 46cm centre of gravity height seems improbable, but the formula appears to have been fundamentally sound.
