It was a truly remarkable event. Backstage at the NEC the team from CBR and PC got the project Austin Westminste­r driving for the first time in 40 years.

Winner of the best stand over 75sq ft, the Jowett Car Club who built a Javelin from an Airfix kit of parts. The Allard Owners’ Club won the under 75sq ft prize.

Guy Loveridge and former Top Gear presenter Steve Berry with the Austin 16 that drove them safely around Europe 70 years on from the original promotiona­l tour.

The 2017 PC Restorer of the Year, Vic Young, receives his golden spanner from Ant Anstead, Mike Brewer and Danny Hopkins on the PC stand. Well done, Vic!
