Classic Car and Restoration Show all reported record numbers as 2017 appears to be the most active classic year for a long time.
Over 2000 vehicles attended the Bicester event. Managing Director, Daniel Geoghegan told PC: ‘We are over the moon with the numbers, and our traders all reported good activity.’
It was the same story at Pride of Longbridge, held in gorgoeus spring sunshine on April 15. A staggering 6500 cars populated Cofton Park in Longbridge for the annual celebration of all things Austin, MG, Mini, Rover or Morris.
The PC show at the NEC had record numbers and interest in the year’s upcoming festivities is intense. The Festival of the Unexceptional, on July 22, organised by Hagerty Insurance, has reported record interest and the MG Car club’s Mglive! is also attracting serious attention now that Wheeler Dealers Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead have confirmed attendance. Coventry Motofest on June 3-4 is aiming to be bigger and better than ever this year with a new partnership deal. The Coventry Business Improvement District deal will provide additional space for 500 more classics, making Motofest bigger than ever. The best classic year ever? You heard it here first.
