Unexceptional fashion

The organisers of the Festival of the Unexceptional are urging visitors to dress in period clothing. The event – organised by Hagarty Insurance – takes place at Stowe House in Buckinghamshire on July 22 and will feature an array of ‘unexceptional classics’ from 1968 to 1989. There’ll be prizes for the best dressed visitors and the most imaginative picnic.
