WHERE’S OUR WOLSELEY?
I have been reading my grandfather’s memoirs and came across the attached photo of his beloved Wolseley 1500. He bought it from Caffyns, Folkestone in 1958, having enjoyed his test drive experience – apart from the heavy oversteer! I would love to know if the car still exists. And even if it doesn’t I would be delighted to find one with the possibility of recreating some of the holidays my grandparents took in her. My dream would be to find the original and take my mum out in it. My grandfather explains how excited she and my uncle where the day he brought it home and how my Mum, at age 13, navigated them and the car to 3rd place in the Maidstone and Mid Kent Rally!
