CAFFEINE BOOST FROM A 3-CYLINDER STORMER

- Ian Jones, Blackburn

Your article ‘Soft-top Smart Buys For 2017’ in the May 2017 issue makes no mention of the Suzuki Cappuccino. In fact you rarely, if ever, mention this little 657cc sports car. Mine is a 1993 official import. I have owned it for four years during which time it has given excellent service and been 100 per cent reliable and very original. Approximately 2000 of these cars were brought into this country in the early Nineties. It’s powered by a three cylinder, DOHC turbo charged, four valves per cylinder engine producing 63bhp and 62lb ft of torque. This powers a car weighing just over 700kg so it’s pretty quick, doing 0-60mph in just over eight seconds. The roof is detachable in stages allowing Targa, or full open top convertable. It would be nice to see it mentioned in your excellent magazine.
