Reading the entry posted by Richard Langdon listed within the ‘ I think you’ll find section’
(PC, May 2017), brought back great memories of the Seventies Fords my Dad used to run.richard correctly confirmed that the MKIII Cortina GTS did have twin headlamp set ups (as did the GXL variants) as my Dad had a 1600GT in Diamond Blue. I remember the TC Harrison Ford dealership in Sheffield
delivering the brand spanking new Cortina GT on Saturday July 31, 1972. Being dropped off at school in a brand new GT had me grinning from ear to ear!
