Third Tuesday of the month, Smallwood
Two years ago Brian Phillips teamed up with a few mates to set up a new Cheshirebased club which would welcome the owners of all cars with open arms. In fact, all types of vehicle, including classic and modern classic cars, motorcycles, scooters, campers, vans, buses and military vehicles are welcome.
Brian explains the ethos of the club: ‘Many classics are unaffordable for young enthusiasts, so we allow anything in as long as it’s cherished. There’s no snobbery; in our ranks we have Consul Capris, Jaguars, a Bentley, a Lada a Sunbeam Rapier and
many other vehicles.
‘We’re effectively a social group full of car-mad people. We meet up at least twice a month and we do a run out each month in the winter; our monthly club meeting is on the third Tuesday at the Bull’s Head in Smallwood (CW11 2TY).
‘We attend local shows and although we normally stay within Cheshire we do sometimes travel further afield.’
