Triumph club marks 40 years

TSSC birthday bash is a success

July 1977 saw the inaugural meeting of the Triumph Sports Six Club at the Motor Lodge at Newport Pagnell Services on the M1 North. Forty years later (Sunday July 23, 2017) club members returned to the site (now a Ramada hotel) for a day of celebrations. The club’s Dave Beardsley reports: ‘There were seven attendees at the first meeting – 83 were present in 35 club cars for the anniversary.’ Members set out on various cross-country routes to the club’s HQ at Lubenham, near Market Harborough, for birthday cake and bubbly. tssc.org.uk
