I’ve had 10 MGFS and owned this one for 18 months. It’s a rare special edition, one of only 99 made in this colour. It’s the one I wanted and I waited and waited until the right one came up. I got rid of a TF 160 for this car… and it is utterly fantastic. I run the MGF and TF Enthusiasts’ Group on Facebook so I am a bit biased.
Russ: My MGF Trophy has got just 50,000 miles on the clock and has had five owners in that time. But it is mine for keeps now. I aim to be the sixth and final owner. I had a TF before this but when I saw this one, in all its eye-popping yellow glory, I thought, 'that will do for my mid-life crisis!'
