Remove master cylinder

Disconnect the brake pipes from the cylinder, plus the brake warning switch wiring, if fitted. Unbolt the cylinder. Tight brake pipe union nuts are easily damaged. Invest in a flare nut spanner of exactly the right size for your classic’s unions.
