Transmission oil

Remove the Allen-headed filler plug at the end of the gearbox casing. Top up to the base of the aperture with EP80. Drain (transmission warm) and replace every 24,000 miles. Capacity: four-speed – 2.8 pints (1.5 litres); five-speed – 3.5 pints (2.0 litres).

Tech Tip Remove the cover panel in the lefthand wheelarch to access the filler.
