Carburettor and air filter

Top up the carburettor’s dashpot, if necessary, with SAE30 oil. Sparingly lubricate the throttle and choke pivots and cables. Replace the air filter every 12,000 miles or if it’s visibly dirty. Wipe clean the air filter housing at the same time.
