Classic Destination

You have voted for your favourites… now it’s time to plan the route…

-

Your votes are in, now we need a route so we can judge Britain’s Best Classic Destination.

Here it is, the list of Britain’s top ten classic destinations as voted for by you. Thousands of votes were counted and our long list of 30 destinations has been whittled down to ten… the places you really love to take your classics. The next step is to join them up. How? You tell us at the

Practical Classics Classic Car And Restoration Show, on the Footman James stand.

Join the destinations up with the best route you can think of by joining the dots on the entry forms. Make sure you nominate you favourite driving road as well so our round Britain trip between May 6-12 will be as memorable for the route we drive as it will be for the destinations we visit.

The winning route will be picked from the show entries on show Sunday, when the route of our epic road trip around Britain – to judge the 10 most exciting places in Britain to take a classic car – will be revealed.

Footman James MD, David Bond, has been blown away by the response ‘There were thousands of votes, but the top ten reflect the passions of petrolheads. As well as the destinations set in dramatic countryside, museums and historic car sites across the country have proved extremely popular.’

‘We’ll be inviting all classic owners in each of the areas to join us for a portion of our epic trip!’ says Practical Classics editor Danny Hopkins. ‘The top 10 cover all corners of the UK – from museums to historic sites and scenic places. It’s now time to work out the best route!’
