TR Register

Sports car fans for more than 50 years

-

The TR Register Car Club celebrated 50 years of supporting owners of Triumph TR sports cars in 2020. Formed by a small band of keen TR enthusiasts back in January 1970, the club’s original mantra to preserve the marque still holds true today but, in addition, the TR Register also aims to help Triumph TR owners get the very best out of their classic Triumph sports cars, plus gain access to the exciting lifestyle that these cars can offer.

From Uk-based shows, events and meets to European tours, rallies, track days and motorsport – the club really does aim to offer it all.

This time next year…

In 2021, the TR Register will celebrate with the worldwide Triumph community to mark the 60th anniversary of the arrival of the first of the Michelotti-designed TRS – the TR4. The celebrations will culminate in the Inter-club Triumph Weekend to be held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern on August 13-15, 2021, where the TR Register will bring together the largest collection of TR4S ever seen in one place alongside some notable Triumph celebrities, derivative models and historic artefacts for fans of Triumph to enjoy.

Spreading the love

Furthermore, the first right-hand drive TR ever built, a TR2 known affectionately by its commission plate number as ‘TS2’ which is owned in trust by the TR Register, will be travelling the country on a round UK relay run. The car will visit every one of the club’s 53 local groups, thereby giving all members the chance to experience and drive the early TR along the way.

More details can be found online at tr-register.co.uk, or by phoning the club’s office on 01235 818866.
