London event to move location
The London Classic Car Show is set to take place once again next year, but in a bid to reduce risks from COVID-19, the event has been pushed back to April 16-18 and the venue has switched to Syon Park to become partly an outdoor show. Show director Simon Woolley told us: ‘Syon’s wide open green spaces will provide the perfect backdrop for more than 500 classic cars from yesteryear. All major display areas will be under temporary covers with open sides to ensure social distancing and a healthy flow of fresh spring air. The event’s headline theme will be The Evolution of Design and we will be celebrating 135 years of automotive progress from the pioneering horseless carriages to the latest supercars; the idolised classics of tomorrow.’ theclassiccarshowuk. com
