I got this car eight years ago and she was a pretty decent example. I knew nothing about how to look after a car, so when I saw an advert in PC for Nick’s Car Maintenance course, I enrolled. I used to be 'the electronics guy' for my mates, and they'd do the oily stuff for me. The course gave me the confidence to see what could be done with my TR6. I took it apart, got it dipped and ended up still thinking 'this is probably a bit beyond me', so I took it to Protech in Wallingford, before the founder, Glen, retired. It was the last car he did before hanging up his spanners. I now drive the car every day, but it's testimony to Glen that it is also a car I can show. She's extensively modified, with EFI system, fastroad cam, and tweaked suspension and brakes.
