What distinguishes the SLC FENDI Technique from other methods of hair transplant?
SLC FENDI Technique is a revolutionary hair transplant method wherein the doctor extracts hair follicles from the nape of the neck (donor site) and ensures swift, trauma-free and natural results without the use of either knife or scalpel – thereby ensuring the absence of stitching or searing. The technique also eliminates the prospect of posttreatment stress and allows everybody to return to their day-to-day affairs within two to five days.
Swiss Luxury Clinic considered, but decided against, invasive technique strip surgery. Why was this?
In strip surgery you remove a part of the scalp, you have to stitch it up and, of course, it is a more involved surgical procedure, and yet it is what 99% of the clinics around the world do today. For us that’s not the best option.
We started with the existing follicular unit extraction (FUE) technique and then moved on to the more advanced FUE which is the SLCFENDI. With this process there is less manipulation, smaller instruments are used, and there is no damage to the donor site.
A 1.00 – 1.20 mm extractor is used in the FUE procedure. We use 0.7 or 0.8mm which is very difficult to train a doctor to do, but we have managed to create new protocols with customised instruments designed by our doctors. Our aim is to improve our protocols, our procedures and our instruments.

this is a very advanced form of FUE which eliminates a lot of the human factor and also the manipulation of the hair follicles after extraction.
